The Greasy Grass magazine is the official publication of the Custer Battlefield Historical & Museum Association and is published each May. Focusing on the battle itself, its personalities and related issues, it is distributed free to CBHMA members and is offered for sale at other selected sites, including the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. The first issue of the magazine was published in 1985. Older issues have long been sold out and a number of them have become valued as collectibles. More recent issues may be available.
